MOSCOW, April 7 Blogger Dmitry Puchkov (Goblin) received the Phoenix Award in the “Point of View” category from video hosting RUTUBE, reports the correspondent.
The RUTUBE Award is given to those who have successfully re-emerged on the Russian platform in the face of unprecedented pressure from unfriendly countries.
«It’s great that in my native country there are resources that a young talented blogger can rely on. While they were building political intrigues, I was cunning, a year and a half before the bad thing happened, ran away to RUTUBE. It’s good that he exists, it’s good that there are people who can lend a strong shoulder. It can’t be there, we’ll do it here. In the end, we should have everything of our own,” said Puchkov.
Puchkov told reporters that there are fewer views on RUTUBE, since there are fewer subscribers on this platform, but he added that he has a website where he also shares his creativity.
Puchkov also spoke about the importance of discipline in the work of a blogger. “If you are going to make videos, release one every week so that there is a schedule so that people can see and know for sure that on Tuesday at 17.00 sharp we will come and watch,” added Puchkov. The blogger talked about the “three pillars of hype.” According to him, in order to get views, you need to film about movies, video games and books.
The award ceremony takes place as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Runet. National video hosting RUTUBE is part of Gazprom-Media Holding. Since 2022, a well-known foreign video hosting site has blocked more than 100 Russian channels without explanation.
