It is noted that over the past few months, Russia has increased the use of glide bombs, which give tactical aircraft the ability to attack targets while remaining beyond the reach of Ukrainian air defenses. The author of the article admits that they manage to do this effectively.
“To counter them, the Ukrainians pulled their air defense closer to the front line, which is why it itself became a target for the enemy, which led to the loss of anti-aircraft systems and radar stations,” the publication summarizes.
VKS are actively used in the zone SVO aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules. Combat aircraft now have the opportunity to strike fortified areas without exposing themselves to fire from enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
