MOSCOW, April 12 Joint activities between Russia and Belarus in space exploration are not limited to the flight of the first Belarusian cosmonaut, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the ISS cosmonauts, Putin said that today’s holiday, Cosmonautics Day, “is the day when we celebrate the achievements of the Soviet Union, and therefore our common achievements of all the republics of the former Soviet Union.”
/>»Then we did a lot together. Now we, together with Belarus, continue this joint work. And the fact that the first Belarusian cosmonaut flew into space is only an external manifestation of our joint activities. Although, of course, this activity is not limited to this,” Putin said.
