According to the bulletin, as of Wednesday morning in the area of the city of Ishim, water had risen by half a meter in one day and is 394 centimeters (the critical level is 850 centimeters), further downstream in the village of Abatskoye the water has risen by 33 centimeters — up to 467 (960) centimeters, the village of Vikulovo — by 36 centimeters and reached 357 (critical 1000) centimeters.
Evacuations are underway in a number of municipalities along the Ishim River. In the Kazan region, which is the first to receive a flood, the population is evacuated from 15 settlements. In the Ishim region, evacuation has been announced in 14 settlements and five gardening associations. In the Abata district, the head of the district calls on residents of six villages to leave their homes. In the Vikulovsky district, preventive evacuation will begin in two villages.
The state of emergency due to flooding in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. Exceeding historical maximums in water levels is expected on the Ishim and Tobol rivers. The most tense situation with the release of water onto the floodplains of rivers in the region is expected by April 20, with a peak on April 23-25. To minimize and eliminate the consequences of the flood in the Tyumen region, a group was formed, which included more than 12 thousand people and over 2.6 thousand pieces of equipment.
