MOSCOW, April 24 In Moscow, a criminal case was opened against a woman for fictitious registration of foreign citizens, according to the Telegram channel of the capital’s Investigative Committee.
“A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of stay in the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, the 51-year-old defendant provided documents to the MFC of Moscow on March 14, 2024 about fictitious registration of foreign citizens at their place of residence. In fact, these foreign citizens did not reside at the place of registration,” the message says.
It is noted that the crime was revealed during investigation into the case of abuse of two girls by a citizen of Tajikistan. According to investigators, on April 1 and 2, a 36-year-old man, “while in an elevated pedestrian crossing near a residential building on 1st Kozhukhovsky Proezd in Moscow, committed sexual assault against two young girls born in 2013.”
As for the case of fictitious registration, according to the Investigative Committee, the woman was charged and she fully admitted her guilt. In addition, she will be checked for involvement in similar crimes.
