Evgeny Nikolsky tried to “bend” his wife under him
36-year-old Evgeny Nikolsky from Tver, head of the local branch of the A Just Russia party and candidate for deputy of the Tver Duma, last Saturday he killed his wife of the same age as she was walking with their 11-month-old daughter, which he himself wrote about on social networks. Having killed 36-year-old Ekaterina, with whom he lived for 13 years and raised his 11-month-old daughter Lada, Evgeniy wrote on his social networks: “Yes, I did it, I don’t care what happens to me – but the lying creature got what she deserved.” Within one day, the author of these lines (he can only be called a murderer based on the results of the investigation) ceased to be a party activist and candidate, and the entry from his page disappeared, leaving only the grief of the loved ones of the murdered Catherine and the orphaned 11-month-old Lada. And also the bewilderment of everyone who knew this seemingly prosperous family.
According to the Investigative Committee for the Tver Region, Nikolskaya’s body was found in a park in the village of Emelyanovo, Staritsky municipal district. 36-year-old Nikolsky, during a family walk on April 20 with a stroller with an 11-month-old daughter, hit his wife of the same age with a knife in the neck, from which she died. Shortly after this, the victim’s brother arrived at the scene and hit his son-in-law on the head with a jack so that he went to the intensive care unit in an unconscious state. It is difficult for reasonable people to imagine that such circumstances can be characterized by the adverb “suddenly”. Those who knew the couple first-hand are now saying that there was no “suddenly” it was not: the candidate for deputy was jealous of his wife and recently beat her severely, after which her parents took her to their village. And in the park where the tragedy took place, it was not a “family” who was walking, but a wife who had run away from her husband with a baby. For the same reason, Catherine’s brother appeared so quickly at the scene of the deadly quarrel. The woman did not contact the police so as not to spoil her husband’s career, but she had been afraid of him for quite some time.
“Before the pandemic, Katya worked for the Americans, she is an IT specialist, very advanced, broad-minded,” a friend of hers, who did not want to give her name, describes the deceased. – I’m only telling you because I see the nonsense that is written on social networks. Katya led an active lifestyle and was interested in many things. When she couldn’t work as before, she began teaching dance. She is easy-going, friendly, men like her like that, but not because they do anything special for it. And he wanted her to sit at home and wash his socks. And so that she shares his views.
– It's not a matter of views. There just happens to be an easy-going person, open to everything new, curious in the good sense of the word – this is Katya. And the clumsy, heavy-duty, complexer – this is Zhenya. But with ambitions and eternally wounded pride. He got Katya 13 years ago as a trophy and defended his property like this, realizing that objectively over the years she has grown and developed, but he has only become ossified and now falls short of her. And he tried to explain everything by saying that he was a believer, and she, they say, was frivolous for him. Well, I would free her from myself!
But judging by the social networks of the “complexist” himself, in addition to political activity, he has been interested in historical reconstructions of the Middle Ages for many years. We ask the workers of the same fields, what if the “trigger” happens? to aggression within the family hid there?
– We only learn from law enforcement agencies what actually caused such a terrible act, but a screenshot of Nikolsky’s deleted confession exists, the Internet remembers everything, – says State Duma deputy of the 6-7 convocation, public figure Alexander Starovoytov. – It is inappropriate, when a person’s life was taken away, to speculate whether his wife really cheated or whether it was a slander. No matter what a woman does, even just swinging at her — this is already a crime. It's like signing that you are not a man and don't respect yourself as a man. And if you are hinting at professional deformation among social activists, then no, we are defenders. There is and cannot be any justification for the use of violence, unless it is to protect loved ones or the Motherland if they are in danger.
Maybe the roots of such sudden cruelty go back to a hobby? The historian Oleg Sokolov, who dismembered a student in St. Petersburg, was also fond of reconstructions of the Napoleonic era and commanded entire armies in large-scale staged games.

“He was interested in the Middle Ages, we don’t like such people and even fear them,” they answer in the historical society, where “colleagues” gathered Associate Professor Sokolov, fascinated by the Napoleonic era. – This sucks the most world history (About the V-XV centuries are considered middle. – ).
