Baza reports the detention of a woman in the Moscow region who is suspected of organizing forced labor. According to the channel, a certain Natalya kept several people in an apartment in Balashikha, whom she forced to beg.

The channel presents the story of one of the “slaves” — an elderly citizen of Belarus. The man said that he was disabled in his homeland, had no family, and had recently arrived in the Russian Federation, where Natalya promised him a job. When he arrived at the address indicated by Natalya, his documents were taken away and he was then forced to work as a beggar. He said that he went out into the street every day with a poster: “My daughter died, only my grandchildren remain.” The man said that the criminals even gave him fake documents for his “grandsons” and “dead daughter” in order to justify requests to passers-by for money.

According to the “slave,” in addition to him, several other people lived in the apartment who found themselves in the same situation. He claims that the daily earnings of each beggar amounted to 5-10 thousand rubles, but the money was collected by “supervisors” every few hours. If compassionate citizens served food to beggars, it, according to the man, could not be eaten “at work,” but should be brought “to the common fund.” He also stated that he and his “colleagues” were intimidated with beatings; people did not try to escape, because they did not know where their passports were hidden.

Baza writes that the man and the rest of the unfortunate people were saved by a random passer-by, who, seeing him, turned to the volunteers of the Anti-Slavery Movement, and they declared police and together with law enforcement officers raided Natalya’s apartment.

“Shaking Natalya called herself a “refugee from Ukraine,” writes Baza, “for a long time she did not want to issue passports and insisted that she was not guilty of anything.”< /p>

It is reported that the police accepted the Belarusian’s statement, but no criminal case has yet been opened regarding the use of slave labor.
