The investigation asked to arrest the ex-deputy chairman of the Moscow region government

MOSCOW, April 25 The investigation asks the Tverskoy Court of Moscow to arrest the former first deputy chairman of the Moscow region government, Svetlana Strigunkova, the court reported.
“A petition was received to select a preventive measure in the form of taking Strigunkova into custody,” said the agency’s interlocutor. Earlier, a law enforcement source reported that Strigunkova is suspected of receiving bribes on contracts for the renovation of hospitals in the region.
According to Kommersant, she is charged with bribes worth 150 million rubles; she resigned from the government of the Moscow region in March.
