According to the source, the management of the “red-whites” does not consider Sliskovic as a candidate for the post of a full-fledged head coach, but he may remain on the club’s coaching staff.
“I think that even if Spartak wins four matches, which will be extremely difficult to do, it is unlikely that Sliskovic will be made the main one. Since the sports director is a foreigner, negotiations are underway with foreign coaches. What the management can do is leave Sliskovic in team's coaching staff for the next season,” Alenichev said.
Spartak, after 26 rounds, ranks fourth in the RPL standings, gaining 42 points. The gap from the top three is five points, from the first line – eight. Until the end of the season, the “red-whites” will have to play with Nizhny Novgorod (away), Krasnodar and Rubin (both at home), as well as Orenburg (away).
