Reuters: Norway will allocate an additional $630 million to Ukraine
Norway this year will increase assistance to Ukraine by 7 billion Norwegian kroner — 633 million US dollars. The total amount allocated will thus rise to 22 billion crowns and will be included in the revised government budget next month.
This is reported by Reuters, citing words of Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on Tuesday after meetings with opposition leaders. Commenting on the statement of the Norwegian authorities, politician Vladimir Zelensky noted on social networks that most of the funds will be used to strengthen Ukrainian air defense systems.
