ST. PETERSBURG , May 3. A blogger from Udmurtia, who became a defendant in a criminal case on the rehabilitation of Nazism after his statements during a tourist trip in Murmansk, was arrested for 10 days, reports the joint press service of the regional courts.
“The Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Murmansk considered a case of an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 20.1 (Petty Hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation against a resident of the Udmurt Republic, a blogger who came to the city to attend excursions and record a video with his comments about what he saw on excursions for his video blog. He was given an administrative punishment in the form of administrative arrest for a period of 10 days,” the press service reports.
According to the court, on April 29, a blogger in the Murmansk Mall shopping center, in the presence of strangers, “attracting the attention of others, loudly expressed obscene language, thereby expressing clear disrespect for society and disturbing public order.”
It was previously reported that a resident of Udmurtia is suspected of rehabilitating Nazism because of a video with calls to stop building memorials to war heroes, which he recorded while traveling in the Murmansk region. As reported in the regional SUSC, investigative actions are being carried out against the blogger; investigators are examining the technical equipment seized from the suspect, and a linguistic examination has been ordered.
The RT Telegram channel noted that a blogger from Udmurtia, whose statements caused a resonance in the Arctic, was recognized on the way from Teriberka and thrown out of the car, forcing him to walk.
