MOSCOW, May 3. Member of the Russian men's cross-country skiing team Artem Maltsev reported on his Telegram channel that he had surgery on his knee.
Maltsev is a silver medalist at the 2021 World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, in the relay. In the national team he is part of the group of coach Yuri Borodavko.
““They operated on the knee,” wrote the 30-year-old athlete.
Previously, the President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe called Maltsev one of the disappointments of the past season due to his health problems.
