MOSCOW, May 11. A girl, while taking photographs, being on the 11th floor of an unfinished building, fell into a ventilation shaft and died at the scene, investigators have opened a criminal case, the capital’s Investigative Committee reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, on May 11, 2024, a group of teenagers entered the territory of an unfinished building located on Davydkovskaya Street in Moscow in order to take photographs. While taking photographs, the girl , being on the 11th floor of the building, fell into the ventilation shaft. The girl, born in 2009, died from her injuries at the scene,” the report says.
It is clarified that investigators have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence).
