MOSCOW, May 12. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the Eurovision song contest, said that what is happening is “the funeral of Western Europe.”< br />“”Eurovision 2024 has surpassed any orgy, coven or ritual sacrilege. The funeral of Western Europe is taking place as usual. No surprises,” Zakharova wrote in the Telegram channel.
Final competition
On Saturday, the final of Eurovision 2024 took place in Malmö, Sweden; Russia did not take part in it.
The winner of the competition was the representative of Switzerland – singer Nemo Mettler, known under the pseudonym Nemo, with the song ” The Code”. According to the total results of audience voting and the jury, Switzerland received 591 points.
In second place is Croatian artist Marko Purisic, known as Baby Lasagna, with the song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” with 547 points, in third place is Ukraine with 453 points. This year Ukraine was represented by hip-hop and rap artist Alyona Alyona (Alena Savranenko) and singer Jerry Heil (Yana Shemaeva) with the song “Teresa & Maria”.
B “Peacemaker” base
The representative of Israel at the Eurovision 2024 music competition, singer Eden Golan, ended up in the database of the scandalous Ukrainian resource “Peacemaker”.
The entry of Golan into the “Peacemaker” database dates back to February 7, 2024. Her photo is attached to the card. The creators of the site attribute Golan to “deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine,” “illegal commercial activities” in the former territories of Ukraine, and “participation in anti-Ukrainian propaganda events.” According to the site, Golan performed in Crimea at the “Children’s New Wave” music competition in 2016.
Previously, the 21-year-old performer lived in Russia; in 2018, she became a finalist in the show “The Voice Children” as part of the team of singer Pelageya.
