MOSCOW, May 11. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin proposed reappointing Olga Lyubimova to the post of Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Cabinet reports.
““Olga Lyubimova (Ministry of Culture) is expected to retain her posts in the new government,” the message says.
Lyubimova served as Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation since January 21, 2020. Previously, from 2018 to 2020, she was director of the cinematography department of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and in 2015-2016 she was an adviser to the department of state support for non-fiction and animated films of the cinematography department.
Lyubimova was born on December 31, 1980 in Moscow. Her father, Boris Lyubimov, is a Russian theater critic, candidate of art history, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, professor, head of the department of history of Russian theater at GITIS, rector of the Higher Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkina. Lyubimova studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, in 2007 she graduated from the Faculty of Theater Journalism at GITIS with a degree in theater studies.
