Sources of the publication on Tuesday, May 14, stated that Surovikin continues to carry out the tasks assigned to him by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Russia in a “certain direction.”

According to the agency’s interlocutors, Surovikin was not in Moscow, and his participation in the work of the upcoming board of the Russian Ministry of Defense is not planned. The general is at his workplace in Algeria.

In recent weeks, Surovikin’s name has appeared in artificially created news reports that are based on fantasies and speculation, people around him said.
