NORBIT (part of the LANIT group) is expanding the functionality of its own Norbit SRM platform. New options have become available to users — multi-currency, expanded accreditation, classification and verification of suppliers, as well as omnichannel procurement. All this will help companies from various industries optimize existing processes, reduce the burden on specialists and minimize the impact of the human factor.
The updated version of the platform has added the ability to conduct procurement procedures with the collection of proposals from participants in a currency other than the base one. Suppliers can submit a proposal by email or in their personal account. The buyer compares them using an interactive competitive sheet in a single currency — the system will recalculate all prices taking into account the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. If for the purposes of evaluating and comparing offers it is necessary to use a different rate, it is changed in the competitive list, and suppliers' offers are recalculated automatically.
Significant changes are also envisaged for working with suppliers; it has become more efficient and less labor-intensive for purchasing managers. Norbit SRM supports self-registration of new suppliers and eliminates duplicate entries. The system itself sends the completed questionnaire and provided documents for accreditation for verification, and after passing it, sends the supplier the necessary questionnaires to assign a particular category. Templates for questionnaires and questionnaires are customized by the user depending on needs. Integration with the Contour.Focus service is also used for verification. This significantly reduces possible risks and serves as confirmation of the reliability of the counterparty for regulatory authorities.
Norbit SRM also now provides procurement activities in an omnichannel format. Partners can choose the most convenient one — e-mail, supplier portal, B2B electronic trading platforms or Bidzaar. The system controls the integrity of information from the beginning to the end of the process, ensures automatic two-way transfer of data, documents and messages, stores and processes received proposals. Each channel has its own set of settings and procedures. Regardless of the option you choose, you can compare and evaluate the offers you receive using the interactive competitive sheet.
Roman Gnatko, commercial director of NORBIT: “Norbit SRM unites the entire circuit of procurement and supplier relationship management. It implements an end-to-end process from demand to payment. The solution is developed on the basis of the BPMSoft low-code platform, which allows you to quickly configure rules and scenarios. Regular updates in accordance with changing customer requirements and the market situation ensure the development of the system at the pace required by the business.»
