Ukraine announced the appearance of Russian armored forces in Volchansk
Russian tanks were spotted in Volchansk, Kharkov region, Ukrainian media write about this with reference to eyewitnesses.
In particular, it is stated that the situation in the city, a local police officer said. According to him, tanks entered the northern part of the city following the infantry of the Russian Armed Forces.
Previously, local authorities reported the evacuation of the population from Volchansk, mainly to Kharkov. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the data on establishing control over the city. A press release dated May 15 stated that units of the “North” group defeated the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of several settlements in the Kharkov region, including Volchansk.
