Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov reported that the capital's club is interested in inviting 32-year-old Lunev in the summer off-season.
“There is no certainty yet. We'll watch at the end of the season. Now I'm focused on the game, and then we'll see. There's a lot of talk. It's not true, let's say so,” Lunev said.
Lunev moved to Qarabag as a free agent in August 2023 from the German Bayer. As part of the team, he became the champion of Azerbaijan this season.
