A man suspected of murdering a girl was detained in the Rostov region

ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 18. In the Rostov region, a suspect was detained in the murder of an eight-year-old girl in the village of Olginskaya, reported in the Telegram channel of the regional head office of the Investigative Committee .
The body of a child with signs of violent death was found on May 17 in a forest plantation near the village of Olginskaya in the Aksai region. As it turned out, the girl went to the store and did not return home. Investigators established that the tow truck driver put her in his car. He was detained; it turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of the village of Dorozhny.

«During the interrogation, the suspect fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime and explained that, while driving a car, he drove through the village of Olginskaya, where he saw a previously unfamiliar girl and offered to give her a ride home. After she got into the car, he took her to a deserted place, where he killed her,” the release says.

Investigators opened a criminal case for the murder of a minor and sent a petition to the court to take him into custody.
Now investigative actions are continuing, examinations have been ordered, including forensic examinations, which will establish the exact cause of the child’s death.
