MOSCOW, May 18. People's Artist of the RSFSR, artistic director of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) Alexey Borodin reported that he was hospitalized.< br />“I’m in the hospital with pneumonia,” he said.
The theater’s press service clarified that the artistic director was hospitalized on Friday, May 17.
Borodin was born on June 6, 1941 year in the Chinese city of Qingdao. He graduated from GITIS in 1968, and from 1973 to 1980 he worked as the chief director of the Kirov Theater for Young Spectators. Borodin came to RAMT as the chief director in 1980, and since 1989 he has been the artistic director of the theater.
