MOSCOW, May 18. Spanish Sevilla announced his departure the head coach of the team, Quique Sanchez Flores, at the end of the season, according to the football club’s website.
The parties came to a mutual agreement to terminate the contract. Flores has worked for Sevilla since December 2023.
Under his leadership, the Spanish club played 23 matches, won ten victories, drew four times and suffered nine defeats. Sevilla (41 points) is in 12th place in the La Liga standings two rounds before the end of the Spanish Championship.
Previously, Flores also coached the Spanish Atlético, Getafe, Valencia, Espanyol, the Portuguese Benfica, the English Watford, the Chinese Shanghai Shenhua and the UAE clubs Al-Ahly ” and “Al-Ain”.
