The brand’s most compact model has changed both outside and inside. At the start of sales, the five-door is offered only with an older turbo engine; all-wheel drive is provided for the crossover.
The Exeed LX SUV debuted in 2019 — this is the most affordable model of Chery’s premium sub-brand. In 2021, the model was slightly modified, and in this form it arrived in Russia: our sales started a year later. In China, in 2022, the LX underwent a full restyling. So now the modernized crossover has once again reached the Russian Federation — configurations and prices have been announced.

The model received a frameless radiator grille and a new front bumper with vertical stripes of running lights. The length of our restyled Exeed LX is 4520 mm, which is 13 mm less than the pre-reform model. Wheelbase is the same 2650 mm. The passport ground clearance is 169 or 175 mm (depending on the version), while for the pre-restyling SUV this figure is 185 mm (same for all variants).

The interior has been redrawn. There is a new front panel, steering wheel, door cards and central tunnel. The scoreboard body also became different. The separate touch climate control unit with washers was removed, and instead there is a touch strip under the air deflectors.

At the moment, the updated Exeed LX is only available with the older engine. This is the old 1.6 petrol turbo-four with a power of 150 hp. (275 Nm), it is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. At the same time, the restyled cross comes with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the pre-reform LX with 1.6T is exclusively all-wheel drive. The previous SUV still has a 1.5 turbo engine (147 hp, 210 Nm) in combination with a CVT; the crossover with this engine has front-wheel drive.

The transformed crossover is offered in two trim levels – Premium (2WD or 4WD) and Prestige (4WD only). The list of standard equipment includes: LED optics, 19-inch wheels, heated windshield washer nozzles and windshield, leather upholstery, heated steering wheel and all seats, dual-zone climate control, the aforementioned display (virtual tidy and multimedia touchscreen, each screen with a diagonal of 12 .3 inches), wireless charging, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto braking systems, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping. The price of the updated front-wheel drive Exeed LX Premium is 3,570,000 rubles, a similar configuration with all-wheel drive costs 3,900,000 rubles. All-wheel drive Exeed LX Premium will cost 3,770,000 rubles. The pre-reform crossover is still in service: a model with 1.5T costs from 3,060,000 rubles (excluding shares), with a 1.6T – from 3,660,000 rubles. It is possible that later the line of versions of the restyled LX will be expanded.
