Last week, the first official photographs of camouflaged prototypes of the new British coupe were published, based on which we decided to imagine what the car will look like .
The Continental GT model dates back to 2003, when the first generation coupe premiered. This car was also the first to be developed from scratch after Bentley joined the Volkswagen group. Today, the third generation of the sports car is on the assembly line, which was first shown in the summer of 2017. And the other day the British distributed the first teasers of the new generation of the model, what will it be like?

From the available photographs it is obvious that this is not a completely new generation, but a modernized car of the current generation. A similar situation was with the second generation Continental GT, which is essentially a restyling of the first. The body will remain virtually unchanged, with the main differences being in the front and rear parts. Thus, the car received new headlights made in the style of the limited-edition Mulliner Batur sports car, which is also the most powerful production Bentley in history. There is now only one headlight on each side, rather than two as on the current model. The bumper and grille will also be updated, which will receive a new finish (it will also have a round radar built into it) with the same shape. On the side, one can only note the absence of decorative elements with air ducts in the front fenders, and at the rear, the most noticeable difference will be the lights. They will become more elongated and extend deeper into the trunk lid, and they are now divided into two parts, while on the current sports car the lights are made in one piece. In addition, the design of the rear bumper and exhaust pipes has been updated.

The fourth generation Bentley Continental will be the company's first model to receive a new hybrid powertrain: the system is based on a 550 hp V8 biturbo engine, paired with an electric motor. The total output is 782 hp, and the maximum torque is 1000 Nm. It is reported that when driving only on electric power, the coupe will be able to travel up to 80 km on a single charge (when calculated using the WLTP cycle).
