MOSCOW, May 23. Russian Florida Panthers goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky was recognized as the first star of the first match of the Eastern Conference final series in the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs.
The meeting, which took place in New York, ended in victory for the guests with a score of 3:0. Russian Florida goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky stopped all 23 shots, scored his first shutout in the 2024 Stanley Cup and was recognized as the first star of the match.
The second star of the meeting was the author of the winning goal and Florida forward Matthew Tkachuk, who also scored an assist. The third star of the match was Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe, who scored 2 points (1 goal and 1 assist).
