NIZHNY NOVGOROD, May 23. Kaspersky Lab and IVA Technologies, a Russian manufacturer of IT equipment and software, have signed a cooperation agreement – the companies plan to including video formats for communications, Kaspersky Lab reported at the CIPR-2024 conference.

The interaction will be aimed at building and promoting joint solutions based on the KasperskyOS operating system and the IVA corporate communications ecosystem… Cooperation will begin with the use of the OS for cyber-immune thin clients Kaspersky Thin Client, created on the basis of KasperskyOS,” the message says. 
It is clarified that thin clients are compact computers that allow you to store data not on the device, but in the cloud. They are used in all industries where multiple employees share the same desktop, making secure data storage and management “mission critical.”
The organizations also plan to “develop video communication formats in their solutions.” According to Sergei Televinov, Deputy General Director for Development of IVA Technologies, the creation and promotion of joint solutions will allow us to build a more technologically advanced domestic IT landscape and will help accelerate digital migration to domestic software.
“In the new version of Kaspersky Thin Client, we have provided functionality for remote communications, and we are glad that the first implementation will take place based on solutions from IVA Technologies,” emphasized KasperskyOS Business Development Director Andrey Suvorov.
