MOSCOW, May 22.In Laos, with the support of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC), a concert was held at which masterpieces of world classics were performed, said the head of the Russian House in Vientiane, Alexander Radkov.
““On May 22, in Vientiane, with the support of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Laos, a concert was held, organized by the St. Petersburg House of Music, at which masterpieces of world classics were performed,” Radkov said. 
He emphasized that cultural Relations between Moscow and Vientiane are actively developing, more and more events with the participation of famous Russian creative groups are visiting Laos.
Radkov noted that the concert took place on the eve of the celebration of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, and works by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Alyabiev, Mussorgsky and others were performed.
The head of the Russian House added that the Russian Ambassador to Laos Vladimir Kalinin was present at the concert, and among the leadership of Laos were the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Suansavan Winyaket, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Sommat Folsina.
