    “Yanukovych's plane” landed in Belarus

    Belarusian telegram channels reported the landing of Yanukovych’s private plane in Gomel

    Belarusian non-state telegram channels disseminated information that former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych could presumably arrive in the country.

    < p>Publications say that at 12:50 Moscow time a Dassault Falcon 900C business jet (RA-09617) landed at Gomel airport. He is associated with a Ukrainian politician.

    According to publications, the previous time a plane with tail number RA-09617 landed in Belarus in early March 2022, arriving from Moscow’s Vnukovo. The Belarusian authorities did not comment on information about contacts with Yanukovych.

    The official two-day visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin began in Minsk on Thursday. Also present in Belarus is the new Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov; on Friday he is holding talks with his colleague Viktor Khrenin. It is expected that one of the topics of negotiations between the Russian delegation will be exercises using tactical nuclear weapons.
