This special five-door from the German brand will be produced in limited edition: the batch intended for the European market will consist of only 250 copies.
Audi presented the current generation RS 4 Avant at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The “charged” station wagon underwent an update in the fall of 2019: then the models improved the exterior and interior, but the “filling” was not touched. In the spring of 2022, the “barn” received versions with the addition of Competition and Competition Plus, which made it possible to increase the maximum speed from 280 to 290 km/h, and the acceleration time from zero to “hundreds” – from 4.1 to 3.9 seconds. However, the engine remained the same.

This year the RS 4 celebrates its 25th anniversary, the company has dedicated release of the corresponding special version – Audi RS 4 Avant edition 25 years. It is known that such a “hot” five-door will be released in a limited edition: a total of 250 copies. Moreover, all these special cars are intended only for the European car market.
The main change that distinguishes the 25 years edition from the regular Audi RS 4 Avant is its “filling”. Under the hood is the same 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine, but its output has been increased by 20 “horses” and is now 470 hp. At the same time, the maximum torque remained the same – 600 Nm. This made the special version more dynamic: from zero to “hundreds” this station wagon accelerates in 3.7 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than the standard RS 4 Avant). The maximum speed of the new version is 300 km/h.

The 25 years edition version received a body in bright Imola yellow – this is a reference to the original RS4, the production of which started at the end of the last century. In addition, this version of the model is available in more discreet colors – Nardo gray and Mythos black. This station wagon also received glossy black inserts, carbon fiber elements in the body kit, and was also deprived of roof rails.
The interior of the special version was decorated with a plate with a number located on the center console, yellow stitching and emblems of the same color. The standard RS bucket seats with carbon fiber backrests have black leather and Alcantara upholstery. As an option, suede upholstery is available for the steering wheel with a truncated rim and the gear lever. A new design for the virtual instrument panel is also available: it imitates the analogue dials of the original RS4.

The special version of the Audi RS 4 Avant edition 25 years received ceramic brakes, a sports exhaust system, and RS coilovers with manual adjustments. In the limited edition, the suspension is 10 mm lower compared to the standard station wagon (if necessary, using settings it can be made lower by another 10 mm). This station wagon also received a more reliable rear subframe mount.

It is worth noting that the special version of the Audi RS5 Sportback Performance Edition also received similar changes to the power plant and chassis. It will also be released in a limited edition of 250 copies for the old world market. The prices of special new products that will go on sale in June are already known: the cost of the anniversary station wagon is 142,905 euros (equivalent to approximately 13.75 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and the purchase of a liftback will cost 128,420 euros (about 12.36 million rubles) .
