Euro 2024 is the 17th UEFA European Championship almost there.
Italy are the defending champions, having won Euro 2020 (held in 2021 due to the Covid pandemic) by beating England on penalties at Wembley.
England and Scotland confirmed their places at this year's Euros during the qualifying stages. Wales agonizingly missed out on qualification after losing on penalties in the play-off final against Poland.
UEFA has approved a call to increase the Euro 2024 squad from 23 to 26 after lobbying from national coaches, including England boss Gareth Southgate, who is concerned about player burnout and injury. Southgate will first select a long list of players he will look at for the final two warm-up games, before whittling it down to the final unveiled squad on June 7.
There has also been fury and ridicule over the official Topps Euro 2024 sticker album after UEFA's decision two years ago to drop Panini as a trading partner. Several England stars were left out of this summer's album, but Wales players are present despite not qualifying.

Euro 2024 starts on June 14, the group stage will last until June 26. The playoff matches will take place from June 29, and the final will take place on July 14 in Berlin.
Where is it?
The tournament will take place in Germany, in 10 organizing cities: Dortmund, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Gelsenkirchen.
How to watch Euro 2024 on TV
As has been the case for some time, in the UK the BBC and ITV/STV will share the rights to broadcast the European Championship.< /p>
The BBC will show England's first two matches against Serbia and Denmark after ITV made a bid to that Gareth Southgate's men will reach at least the semi-finals.
ITV has picked England's potentially decisive Group C final game against Slovenia, as well as any final game. Match -16 with the participation of the Three Lions and any semi-final.
The BBC will show any England quarter-final, with both channels sharing the final as always.
The opening match between Scotland and hosts Germany will be shown on ITV, with the BBC selecting Scotland's other games in Group A, against Switzerland and Hungary.

The tournament will include 24 teams participated. Poland, Ukraine and Georgia are the latest to confirm their places in the playoffs.

What is the official song of Euro 2024?
Italian DJ group Meduza, American pop-rock giants OneRepublic and German pop icon Kim Petras have teamed up to create the official song of the Euro. It's called Fire. According to tournament organizers, the song «brings together the Italian band's beloved anthem, OneRepublic's immersive soundscapes and Leoni's pop expertise in a track that embodies the fervor and spirit of football and music lovers alike.»

Euro 2024 ball
The official ball of Adidas Euro 2024 is known as Fussballliebe, which means «love of football» in German. According to UEFA, the design is inspired by the joy of football and the energy of the tournament. In addition to using recycled polyester and water-based ink, the ball is made from more environmentally friendly bio-based materials than any previous official Adidas ball. Each layer of the ball includes corn fiber, sugar cane, wood pulp and rubber.
The ball features images of each of the stadiums used for the tournament, as well as the name of each host city. .
The ball will also use Adidas' connected ball technology to send real-time data to referees, which will help make decisions on offsides and handballs faster.
