MOSCOW, May 31.People's Artist of the RSFSR Yuri Kuklachev underwent a planned operation on Thursday and a pacemaker was installed, said the artist's representative Olga Kardokienė, adding that he will be discharged today.
Earlier, Kuklachev’s son Dmitry Kuklachev said that the artist was undergoing a routine health check at the cardio center and was feeling well, emphasizing that he was going to take him home.
«Yesterday a routine examination was carried out. The doctors were going to install a pacemaker in any case. Yesterday they installed it. Today they are discharged,» said the agency's interlocutor.
Earlier, Kuklachev’s representative Olga Kardokiene reported that the artist was discharged from the hospital after a massive heart attack on May 14. He became ill at his anniversary concert “The Kindest Clown” at the Vegas City Hall on April 12, and was taken away in an ambulance with heart complaints, the artist’s son reported.
