WP: Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders complained about poor training of recruits

Commanders of Ukrainian units complained to American journalists that the recruits entering the troops are trained in practically nothing and they have to spend many days to prepare them at least according to the basic program.
“We have to devote weeks to training them (recruits – Ed.) in basic skills like shooting,” The Washington Post notes in its publication. The article says, with reference to Ukrainian field commanders, that now this applies to almost all recruits, no matter where they come from.
American journalists suggest that the law adopted in Ukraine on tightening the mobilization of special assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not bring, as the Russian army continues to advance and Ukrainian commanders at the front are forced to train new soldiers.
