An activist of the pro-Ukrainian AllatRa movement was detained in Tomsk*

MOSCOW/NOVOSIBIRSK, June 5An activist of the pseudo-religious movement «AllatRa»* organized in Ukraine, whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia, was detained in Tomsk, a source in law enforcement agencies said.
“The search and detention took place at the premises of activists of the AllatRa movement*. A resident of Tomsk received funds from the organization’s leaders against receipt for campaigning,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
< br />He also added that a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (carrying out the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation), the suspect was released on her own recognizance.

There is a video of the search and arrest of the suspect, in which brochures of the organization are found in her apartment, and she admits that she received money from a member of the organization.
In turn, the SUSK for the Tomsk region reports that the case was initiated on the basis of materials from the regional FSB Directorate. A search was carried out at the suspect's place of residence, witnesses were questioned.

«According to preliminary data, in October 2023, the suspect collected funds in the amount of 415 thousand rubles, which were subsequently transferred by her to a bank account belonging to another person. As established by the investigation, the funds were intended to support the activities of an international non-governmental organization — the International Public «AllatRa» movement, says the investigative department.

Earlier on Wednesday, a local resident was detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of raising funds for AllatRa*. According to the Moscow region headquarters of the RF IC, he received at least 17 million rubles from members of this organization, which were spent on the activities of the movement, including on propaganda material.
In August 2023, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office recognized as undesirable the activities of the Ukrainian movement «AllatRa» *, whose ideologists force citizens of the Russian Federation to extremism. According to the supervisory authority, AllatRa* is a pseudo-religious movement based in Ukraine that operates in Russia and a number of other countries. In violation of legal requirements, the movement is allegedly engaged in missionary activities without the status of a religious organization.
