In this case, only income from cybersecurity services was taken into account in terms of euros at the average annual rate.
Revenue from Solar cybersecurity services (excluding projects within PJSC Rostelecom) in 2023 amounted to 6.9 billion rubles. (€75 million at the average annual rate). The top 5 European MSSPs also included Thales (France), Orange Cyberdefense (France), Kudelski Security (Switzerland), mnemonic (Norway). “According to research, Russia accounts for only 1% of the global information security market, while the cost of cybersecurity services in our country is significantly lower than, say, in Western and a number of Eastern countries. Taking into account these two factors, 5th place in the European and 15th in the global ranking of MSSP players is a more than decent result. Recently, we have significantly transformed the processes and technologies of the service area, and have gained enormous experience in protecting the country’s key infrastructures in the conditions of a real cyber war. All these changes led to qualitative growth: in 2023, the number of clients increased by 40%, while the connection of new customers accelerated two to four times. At the same time, we increased our staff of specialists by approximately 30%. Thus, in terms of the number and level of clients served, as well as the accumulated expertise, today we can claim a leading position not only in Russia, but also in the world and are ready to export our developments,” commented Vladimir Dryukov, Director of the Solar JSOC Center for Countering Cyberattacks of the Solar Group.
The service line of the Solar Group includes the Solar JSOC Center for Countering Cyberattacks — the first and largest in Russia commercial SOC, under the protection of more than 300 organizations from different sectors of the economy.
