The Omarov brothers arrested in Dagestan were allowed to hand over personal belongings

MOSCOW, June 30 The wives of the arrested Omarov brothers in Dagestan were allowed to hand over personal belongings, a relative of the accused said.
Earlier, a source in the security forces reported that on Wednesday in Makhachkala, the sons of the former head of the Sergokalinsky district of Dagestan, Magomed Omarov, were arrested under the article on petty hooliganism. Later, the Supreme Court of the republic reported that two courts in Makhachkala on Wednesday found six Omarovs with the patronymic «Magomedovich» guilty of «committing an administrative offense» and sentenced them to arrests of two to 13 days.

«They are allowing us to transfer things and food to their husbands. They have transferred them and we continue to wait,» the agency's interlocutor shared.

On Wednesday, a video circulated in Dagestan Telegram channels in which allegedly the sons of the former head of the Sergokalinsky district of Dagestan, Magomed Omarov, asked the residents of the republic for forgiveness for their brother, who was eliminated last Sunday during a counter-terrorism operation.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, in the video the apology text is spoken by Omarov’s eldest son, Omar. According to open information, Omar Magomedovich Omarov heads one of the multifunctional centers of Makhachkala. Also in the video, according to a family relative, is Omarov’s other son, Adil, who was previously named by the media as another of those liquidated during the terrorist attack in the republic.
In Derbent and Makhachkala, on June 23, armed militants attacked two Orthodox churches, two synagogues and a traffic police post. According to the latest data, 21 people died as a result of the attack, and more than 40 were injured. In the region, June 24, 25 and 26 were declared days of mourning. Security forces killed five militants involved in these terrorist attacks, their identities have been established. According to a source in the security forces, one of the liquidated bandits is Omarov’s 31-year-old son Osman.
Magomed Omarov himself was also arrested for 10 days under the article of petty hooliganism.
