Former Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Tatyana Shevtsova commented on reports that she allegedly left the country. As TASS writes, last week such information was disseminated in a number of Telegram channels. It was alleged that Shevtsova had gone to France.

“I’m in the Kremlin today at a wonderful dance tournament,” she told TASS.

The former minister added that at this event “there will be wonderful couples performing» dancers.

"Of course, these are all (rumors. — MK) — they are not true,” she emphasized.

Shevtsova held the post of deputy head of the Ministry of Defense since 2010, and oversaw the financial block of the department. On June 17, 2024, Vladimir Putin dismissed the official from her post. There was no information about Shevtsova’s further employment.
