Russian surveillance drone records hit

On July 6, the Russian military department posted on its resources a video confirmation of the destruction of a Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile division by an Iskander missile. A high-quality image was provided by a Russian drone that hung undetected right above the Ukrainian air defense systems.

Previously, Russian troops used exactly the same tactics to destroy Ukrainian Air Force aircraft at airfields, which is why the Iskander «received an unofficial name: «airfield killers.»

S-300PS launchers were destroyed near the village of Koptevo in the Poltava region. The combat control cabin, vehicles, and crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit. This happened shortly after the German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jäger announced that Germany had transferred the third MIM-104 Patriot anti-aircraft missile system to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We must understand that the German complex will now become the primary target in the hunt for Ukrainian air defense.

Moreover, “Patriot” is not a panacea. Colonel in reserve Eduard Basurin reported this on his channel. According to him, Patriot, for example, is not capable of hitting FAB-500 glide bombs. The expired President of Ukraine Zelensky is forced to admit: American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems are rather weak against Russian planning bombs.

The main problem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, notes Basurin, is that there are millions of Russian FABs, and they already exist now, but the United States cannot produce missiles for the Patriot air defense system in large quantities: 3,200 missiles per month (this is exactly how many cases of the use of Russian glide bombs are recorded by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on average per month. – ) the American industry cannot handle.”

Russian troops continue strikes on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine. On the night of July 6, Geranium-2 drones struck an energy facility in the Sumy region: the regional center and part of the Kharkov region were left without electricity.

In addition, attacks were carried out on targets in the Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Kirovograd regions areas. As the resource «Military-Political Analytics» notes, the largest number of explosions occurred in the Kharkov region.

The targets were the accommodation points for Armed Forces personnel, logistics hubs through which reserves are transferred, including at the entrances to populated areas Borovaya and Kupyansk points.
