Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview with the deputy editor-in-chief of the German publication Bild that there will be increased confrontation in the area of the special military operation in the coming months. He called the coming events terrible.
“It will get much worse,” Orban said, noting that these events will take place in the coming months before the US elections.
“The energy of confrontation and the number casualties will be even more terrible than in the last seven months,” the Hungarian prime minister noted, explaining that the Ukrainians received a lot of high-quality weapons from the United States, and the Russians are determined.
“What will happen ahead is much worse , than we think,” Orban emphasized.
He said that during conversations with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, he asked the question that it was possible to agree on a time-limited truce, and then from a truce to peaceful negotiations. According to him, both Ukrainians and Russians responded in the same way — a truce is in the interests of the enemy, as it will help rebuild and prepare for the continuation of hostilities.
