MOSCOW, July 7 The situation after the emergency in the Podgorensky district of the Voronezh region is normalizing, detonation occurs less frequently, sappers are inspecting populated areas, Governor Alexander Gusev said.
Earlier, the head of the region reported that air defense destroyed several drones over the Voronezh region, when their remains fell, a warehouse caught fire, and a detonation occurred. Later, a state of emergency was introduced within the boundaries of the Podgorensky district of the Voronezh region, and residents are being evacuated to temporary accommodation points in the city.
“»The situation after the emergency due to the fall of UAV debris in the Podgorensky district is normalizing, detonation occurs less and less often. Sappers have begun to survey the territory of populated areas,» the governor wrote in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that due to the emergency, more than 80 people were evacuated, and over 20 people were placed in temporary accommodation centers.
Gusev also said that the most significantly affected by the emergency was in the Podgorensky district one private house and two outbuildings.
““We will create district commissions to establish damage. They will begin work immediately after specialists have completed checking the territory,” he added.
