In the second generation, the frame all-terrain vehicle has radically changed outside and inside, and has also grown. In addition, the model has a new turbodiesel.
In branded pictures, the second generation Haval H9 SUV was shown in China at the very beginning of this year; the public premiere was held there in April as part of the Beijing Motor Show. At the same time, what’s curious is that even before the model was announced in its homeland, it managed to appear… in Russia! Thus, the “second” H9 was demonstrated on a presentation slide for local dealers. However, only now the Russian division of Haval has officially announced the release of such an all-terrain vehicle on our market: the start of sales is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024, along with the Haval H3 SUV, the new H9 will be sold through a separate Haval Pro dealer network.

Like its predecessor, the second generation Haval H9 has a frame structure. The new model has an independent double wishbone suspension at the front and a five-link rear suspension with a solid axle. The exterior is designed in the style of the brand’s brutal crossovers: in particular, the frame looks like an enlarged copy of the Haval Raptor SUV (aka Menglong) intended for China. The H9's exterior design features include round LED headlights placed in square frames, an impressive radiator grille with horizontal slats and a large Haval inscription, bifurcated rear lights in black vertical blocks. There is a storage box on the swinging tailgate.

The interior of the SUV addressed to Russia has not yet been demonstrated — the brand has limited itself to a verbal description. Apparently, inside our H9 repeated the version for China: separate screens for the instrument panel (10.25 inches) and multimedia system (14.6 inches) are installed inside, while the SUV retained the physical keys. The Russian Haval H9 will be available with a seven-seater cabin. It is reported that with the third and second row of seats folded down, the trunk volume will be 1598 liters. The models are also promised three-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, wireless charging for a smartphone, USB connectors (two front and rear), a panoramic sunroof, all-round cameras, and off-road cruise control.
