YEKATERINBURG, July 10Kaspersky Lab and Gravity Group will develop applications for devices running KasperskyOS that can be used in industrial, manufacturing and other commercial sectors; the companies signed a corresponding agreement at Innoprom 2024.
Kaspersky Lab and Gravity Group, a developer of mobile applications, announced at Innoprom 2024 the start of a strategic partnership. The companies will jointly develop test applications for professional mobile devices based on KasperskyOS for Mobile. The goal of the partnership is to create secure and reliable mobile devices that can be used in industrial, manufacturing and other commercial sectors,» the statement said.
First, companies will develop specialized applications for managing production processes, monitoring industrial equipment and ensuring data security. But in the future, these solutions are planned to be integrated into IoT devices. Smartphones running KasperskyOS will be able to implement any necessary use cases.
As Gravity Group CEO Andrey Yaborov noted, cooperation will allow the company to reach a new level in the development of mobile applications for the industrial and manufacturing segment.

Earlier at Innoprom, Kaspersky Lab presented Kaspersky Appicenter — a platform for applications on KasperskyOS, which will provide the tools necessary for third-party developers to create, distribute and manage the life cycle of applications. The company plans to expand the development toolkit to create applications for other products based on KasperskyOS.
