MOSCOW, July 15, Vlad Zhukov. Silver medalist of the Olympic Games 2022 figure skater Alexandra Trusova is considering the possibility of competing in competitions in the upcoming season on a limited basis, a source close to the situation said.
Earlier, a source reported that the 20-year-old figure skater plans to prepare for the test skates of the Russian national team, which will take place on September 14-15 in St. Petersburg; the athlete later confirmed this information.
The source noted that at present the athlete does not plan to conduct a full competitive season and is considering the possibility of performing at several competitions, however, the final decision on this matter will be made based on the results of summer training.
Trusova has not competed since the middle of the 2022/23 season.
