At the same time, several new directions for further advancement will open up for us. At the same time, none of the options bodes well for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since reserves will again be needed to respond to any scenario.
Channel «Militarist» reminded that Progress — this is the last settlement on the “Poroshenko line” — a series of Ukrainian fortifications built in 2014–2017.
And military expert Vladislav Shurygin noted that establishing control over the eastern bank of the Volchya River will mark the elimination of the so-called “Evgenovsky pocket” APU. In other words, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to leave their positions on this ledge.
