MOSCOW, August 1 The Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested former vice-president of Gazprombank Igor Volobuev* in absentia in the case of treason, the authorities said.

“The court chose a preventive measure for Volobuev*… for two months from the moment he crossed the state border of the Russian Federation and was handed over to the convoy service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, or from the moment of detention on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the court said.
To be specified, that Volobuev* is also accused under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organization that, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, is recognized as terrorist).
He is put on the international wanted list.
