SIMFEROPOL, August 5 There have been no complaints about the appearance and content of the performances of artists — both local and touring — in Crimea, but the region has taken a number of preventive measures to eliminate negative manifestations, the press service of the regional Ministry of Culture reported.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Culture supported the proposal to introduce a dress code for artists at concerts.
«At the moment, the department has not received any signals or complaints about the appearance and content of the performance of artists, both local and those performing on a commercial basis — on tour. However, we are closely monitoring what is happening in this area in other regions of our country and which artists, by their behavior, have caused justified criticism from the public,» the department reported.
There is no need to adopt any documents on this topic, the Ministry of Culture noted.
«The Ministry of Culture has promptly taken a number of preventive measures to prevent negative manifestations in this regard among artists, creative groups and performers of Crimean state cultural institutions,» the press service reported, without specifying what measures are being discussed.
Traditionally, artists from other regions of Russia perform on tour in Crimea during the resort season.
