Small and medium-sized businesses engaged in the construction of individual residential buildings significantly increased their funding in June-July 2024. It allows contractors to build private residential buildings for customers with a secure payment mechanism — using escrow accounts. «Over the two summer months, contractors received funding limits in the amount of 1.8 billion rubles, which is 60% more than in all three spring months of the year — from March to May,» said Anna Kornelyuk, head of the Small and Medium Business division of DOM.RF Bank.
The largest amount of financing was received by developers in the Novosibirsk Region, Moscow and the Moscow Region, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Tyumen and Rostov Regions, and Krasnodar Krai. At the same time, the number of regions in which small and medium-sized businesses are building individual houses using the bank's tools is also growing.
Most often, contracting organizations build houses from blocks — they account for more than 44%. Most block houses are built in Moscow, Tyumen, Samara, Voronezh, and Sverdlovsk Regions.
The second most popular material for the construction of individual houses is wood. The share of wooden housing construction is almost 26%, and the leading regions here are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Moscow regions, Krasnoyarsk Krai.
Brick houses occupy a share of almost 14%. Brick houses are preferred in Tatarstan, Rostov and Tver regions, Krasnodar Krai.
Monolithic houses are less in demand — their share is 2%.
“The strengthening trend for individual housing motivates construction organizations to offer a wide selection of materials, standard designs, optimize construction times and improve the quality of work. Attracting financing allows us to organize this process more efficiently. Since the beginning of 2024, contractors from among small and medium-sized businesses have received limits in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles, many contractors are already building houses,” Anna Kornelyuk clarified.
