MOSCOW, August 1 Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian government to develop a financial model for maintaining laboratories created to attract leading scientists. The corresponding list of instructions following a meeting of the Council on Science and Education and a meeting with mega-grant recipients and leading scientists was published in Thursday on the Kremlin website.
«To the Government of the Russian Federation: the Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, taking into account previously given instructions, shall develop a financial model for the maintenance and effective use of laboratories that have been created as part of the implementation of measures to attract leading scientists and young researchers to Russian higher education institutions, scientific organizations, and in which the implementation of relevant projects has been successfully completed. The report is due by December 1, 2024,» the document says.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Russian Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko have been appointed responsible.
