MOSCOW, August 8 Great Britain field hockey team athlete Giselle Ansley said that she came across raw meat in dishes in the Olympic Village at the Games in Paris, which created a health risk.
Earlier, three-time Olympic champion British swimmer Adam Peaty said that athletes were finding worms in fish dishes offered in the Olympic Village. The organizing committee of the Games said that they were satisfied with the current supplier of dishes for athletes.
«The food was terrible at first and there wasn't enough of it. The turkey skewers weren't cooked properly and were raw in the middle. It's dangerous. The popular dishes were running out and the athletes weren't getting enough to eat. When we have competitions in the morning, we come back and have to eat to be ready for the next day,» Ansley was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
«In the early days I would rate the food one out of ten. Now I would say it's five out of ten,» the athlete added.
