The local representative office of the Chinese brand has so far shared only one teaser of the model, which will replenish the Russian lineup. Moreover, the name of the car is not mentioned.
The Changan brand introduced the CS75 SUV back in 2013. The second generation appeared in 2019, at the same time the Plus addition was added to the name (the first generation model was left in service). Later, this car was updated several times, while in China they even announced the result of the 2022 and 2023 restylings as a new generation of «Plus», but this crossover is only getting ready for a real generation change, we talked about this earlier.

The Changan CS75 Plus is also present on the Russian market, and we are talking about the pre-restyling version. Currently, the so-called “classic” CS75 Plus with the 2021 model front end design is available in the Russian Federation. According to the local official website of the brand, the price of this SUV today is 2,849,900 rubles.
Let us recall that the CS75 Plus presented in the Russian Federation is 4700 mm long, 1865 mm wide, 1710 mm high, and the distance between the axles is 2710 mm. Its ground clearance is 190 mm, the trunk volume is 620 liters, and the fuel tank volume is 58 liters. The SUV is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo four, the output of which is 178 hp, and the maximum torque is 265 Nm. The engine works in tandem with a six-speed hydromechanical automatic Aisin, and the drive can only be front.
Teaser of the new Changan crossover for the Russian market
Now the local representative office of Changan has announced a new product for the Russian market, although the company has not yet specified the model name. The announcement is accompanied by a single teaser, which shows the headlight and exterior mirror of the car. Judging by the shape and light pattern of the head optics, a later restyling version of the SUV will appear in Russia. True, based on the current photo, it is still unclear whether this will be a 2022 or 2023 model, since they have the same optics, and the main distinguishing element — the radiator grille — is missing from the photo announcement.

The Chinese SUV for the domestic market (regardless of the year) has a large display on the front panel in the list of basic equipment, combining a virtual instrument panel and a touchscreen of the infotainment system (the diagonal of each display is 12.3 inches). The list also includes: cruise control, camera system, climate control, standard video recorder, panoramic sunroof. The top version is equipped with a projection screen, a facial recognition system and driver monitoring, heated seats, as well as automatic braking, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring functions.
In the domestic market, the Changan CS75 Plus (both from 2022 and 2023) is offered with 1.5- and 2.0-liter gasoline turbocharged fours, with power outputs of 188 and 233 hp, respectively. Both engines are paired with a classic eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The current Plus line for China also includes a hybrid iDD installation based on a 1.5T engine. The drive with any «stuffing» is only front-wheel drive.

As we already mentioned, in China, the Changan CS75 Plus is preparing for a full-fledged generation change: in May of this year, official photos of the exterior of the new SUV were published, and in July, pictures of its interior appeared.
