Crossover Chery Tiggo 4 Pro received a portion of new things and became more powerful

The compact SUV is offered with two interior design options.

Last year, the Chery Tiggo 5x cross (in Russia the model is called Tiggo 4 Pro) found a new salon in China — with a large scoreboard instead of separate tidy and a multimedia system tablet. At the same time, the SUV with the same interior remained in service, but in order not to confuse the models, the “five” of the 2022 model was assigned the Plus prefix. Now, the 4.3-meter-long compact was again refreshed at home, and it turned out that the Plus is no more: this version — already without a «surname» — has replenished the range of «simple» Tiggo 5x. But first things first.

So, from the common for all versions of the Chery Tiggo 5x 2023 model year: red decorative inserts are no longer provided for the crossover (there were on the front bumper and on the sides), but new-design wheels (16- or 17-inch) appeared. The grille has two patterns — “dotted” or with shiny “strokes”.

Inside there are new color finishes. The combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia (each display with a diagonal of 10.25 inches) is now only the most expensive configuration, she also got air deflectors hidden in a wide die and a two-story central tunnel (all this is the legacy of Tiggo 5x Plus). Other versions have analog devices with a 3.5-inch screen, a tablet (10.25 inches) protruding from the front panel, separate air ducts and a massive tunnel.

As before, the crossover is available with two petrol engines to choose from. «Aspirated» 1.5 has become more powerful, now it produces 120 hp. and 148 Nm instead of 116 hp and 143 Nm, this engine is still combined with a five-speed “mechanics” or a CVT. The top refreshed Chery Tiggo 5x is equipped with a 1.5 turbo four, its reforms have not been touched: 156 hp. and 230 Nm, the engine is paired with CVT. The drive is exclusively front.

The price of a new model year SUV in China varies from $10,000 to $13,800.

Chery Tiggo 4 Pro has not yet reached Russia with a scoreboard. Our cross is presented with a 1.5 atmospheric engine (113 hp, 138 Nm) and a turbo engine of the same volume (147 hp, 210 Nm), the price is from 2,099,900 rubles (2023, excluding shares ).
